The wine was aged for 20 months in French oak (75% new). Racking occurred every 4 months until bottling. This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is drinkable upon release, but will reward careful cellaring for the next 15 – 20 years. An elegant nose of cassis, ripe plum, and cherry; with hints of cedar, cocoa, and sweet vanilla. The mouth smooth - layered with flavors of blackberry jam, black cherry, and raspberry. Mouth-filling tannins lift the palate and provide an elegant finish of berry and spice.
